ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners promotion to the post of Asst. Executive Engineer on par with his Junior in the Panel Year 2023-2024 based on the petitioners representation dated 03.11.2025.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the first respondent called for suitability for the eligible candidates for the promotion to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer for the panel year 2023-24 and the petitioner name was deferred by citing punishment. But the said punishment was modified and the same was ended before the crucial date that is on 31.03.2023. The crucial date is 05.08.2023. The second respondent also recommended the petitioner case and sent a revised suitability report and mentioned that the petitioner is fit for promotion to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer for the panel year 2023- 2024. But the first respondent delaying the case and the petitioner send various representations to the respondent and the delaying the case and the same is not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
