(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.

This Habeus Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to secure the petitioner's daughter and grand son namely Malathi, W/o.Manikandan, D/o. Perumal and Dhanush S/o.Manikandan aged about 40 and 13 years respectively and to produce the body or person of the detenues before this court and set them at liberty

2. The petitioner is the father of the first detenu. The first detenu got married with one Manikandan and gave birth to a male child. While she was living with her husband she was missing along with her son from 06.11.2025, therefore the petitioner lodged complaint. Further the husband of the first detenue also lodged complaint before the second respondent and a case was registered in Crime No.172 of 2025 under 'woman missing' and 'boy missing'. During investigation the second respondent found that the petitioner's son -in-law used to quarrel with the first detenue very often and as such due to matrimonial dispute she left the matrimonial home along with her son. Since the detenue has no mobile the second respondent was unable to trace them.

3. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order

4. With the above direction, the Habeus Corpus petition stands disposed of.
