O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the second respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking reinstatement of the petitioner into service as Anganwadi Worker by cancelling the relieving order dated 12.05.2023.

2. The petitioner while working as Anganwadi Worker, she submitted resignation letter on 03.04.2023 due to her family circumstances. Immediately it was accepted and the petitioner was relieved from service. However, within a period of 24 days, she submitted withdrawal of resignation letter on 27.04.2023. However, without considering the same, the petitioner was relieved from the service with effect from 31.05.2023. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation to consider her withdrawal letter seeking withdrawal of resignation request as per Section 50(1)(2)(3) of Tamilnadu Government Servants (Condition of Service) Act. 2016. Further, the petitioner repeatedly submitted representation and it is pending without consideration.

3. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking reinstatement into service and to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
