This contempt petition is filed alleging disobedience of the order of this Court dated

20.11.2024 made in W.P.(MD)No.27690 of 2024.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 20.11.2024, the respondents have conducted enquiry and found that there is no encroachment as alleged in the writ petition. He further submits that the present contempt petition is filed as if the order of this Court had not been complied with. He has also circulated the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Virudhunagar along with photographs reporting that there is no encroachment as alleged by the petitioner.

3.Recording the same, this contempt petition stands closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the report of the Tahsildar, he can very well work out his remedy as contemplated under law.
