ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to give compensation for the damage caused to the petitioner's sugarcane crops in the fire disaster that took place on 06.02.2023 at Survey Nos.188/1 and 189/B situated at Viruppachi Village, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation on 30.06.2025 claiming compensation for the damage caused to his sugarcane crops due to the fire disaster that occurred on 06.02.2023 at Survey Nos.188/1 and 189/B, at Viruppachi Village, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be disposed within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.06.2025 and dispose of the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
