ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to rectify the petitioner's date of birth as 11.11.1953 instead of 03.03.1956 in Aadhar Card bearing No.705913985875 and PAN card bearing No.JPBPM4060M respectively, without insisting upon production of the original pension book to enable the 5th respondent to disburse the family pension and arrears to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2025.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation on 13.10.2025 for rectification of her date of birth as 11.11.1953 instead of 03.03.1956 in Aadhar Card and PAN card. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, by referring to paragraph 11 of the counter, would submit that the petitioner may visit any of the enrolment centres and change her date of birth with the assistance of the operator / supervisor, by providing necessary documents.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent would submit that as far as change of date of birth in the PAN Card is concerned, the petitioner ought to file an online application to the service provider. 5. I have given due consideration to the submissions made on either sides.
6. It appears that the petitioner intends to change her date of birth in Aadhar Card and PAN Card. For change of date of birth in the Aadhar Card, as contended by the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2, the petitioner can always visit any of the enrolment centres and change the date of birth with the assistance of the operator / supervisor by providing necessary documents, as mentioned in the list of acceptable documents for enlorment and update, attached as Annexure II in the counter of the respondents 1 and 2. As far as change of date of birth in the PAN Card is concerned, as contended by the learned counsel for the fourth respondent, the petitioner is supposed to file an online application to the service provider. Such being the case, the petitioner is directed to visit enrolment centre and file necessary online application for change of date of birth in the Aadhar Card and PAN Card respectively, in accordance with the procedures in force.
7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
