ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd

respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner for issuance

of a legal heirship certificate in respect of her father.

2. The petitioner would submit that her father died on 14.01.1974,

leaving behind him surviving the petitioner and three sons, namely

Chandramohan, Udhayshankar and Velmurugan as his legal heirs. The

petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 31.10.2025

seeking issuance of the legal heirship certificate. However, the said

representation has not been considered to date. Hence, the petitioner is

before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the

materials available on record.

4. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the

respondents would submit that the petitioner has not made an online

application and that as and when such an online application is made, the

same will be processed in accordance with law.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional

Advocate General, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the

petitioner to submit an on-line application forthwith and upon

submission, the respondents shall consider the same in accordance with

law. No costs.
