Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 3.1.2026 and consequently release the sale deed of the petitioner vide Document No.43/2025 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER

The petitioner purchased a property from Mr.Jayaraman and Mr.Kali acting through their agent. Upon presentation for registration, it is stated that the document was registered under document no.92/2026. However, the petitioner states that the document has not been released till date on the ground that time is required to scrutinise the document. After submitting a representation dated 03.01.2026 seeking release, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Ms.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice for both the respondents. She submits that the petitioner’s representation would be considered and disposed of within four weeks.

3. In view of the above submissions, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s representation dated 03.01.2026 seeking release of the document within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by either releasing the document or issuing a speaking order of refusal. There will be no order as to costs.
