This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order of the 1^st respondent Mu.Mu.(Ln2) 6987/2010 dated 22.01.2018 and to direct the 1^st respondent to transfer the patta from the name of the petitioner's father-in-law to the petitioner's name being a legal heir in respect of the property in S.No.592/5C to the extent of 21 cents at Puduppavadi Street, Kamuthi Town, Ramanathapuram District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that patta has been issued in favour of the petitioner and thus, the cause does not survive anymore.

4. Recording the said submission, the writ petition stands closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
