O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.]

This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience

of the order, dated 24.06.2025, made in W.P.(MD) No.15460 of 2024.

2. The above writ petition was filed by the petitioner seeking

removal of the encroachments made by the private respondents in the said

writ petition. This Court, vide order dated 24.06.2025, directed the

respondents to conduct a field inspection, survey the subject land and take

appropriate action for removal of the encroachments, if any. Alleging that no

action has been taken pursuant to the directions issued by this Court, this

contempt petition has been filed.

3. Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, who takes

notice for the respondent, on instructions, submits that the respondent has

scrupulously followed the directions issued by this Court and after conducting

a survey of the field, had found that the private respondents in the said writ

petition are in occupation of their patta land and not in the Government land

and as such, they are not encroachers. To that effect, a copy of the

proceedings of the respondent dated 27.01.2026 has been produced before

this Court.

4. Recording the same, this contempt petition is closed.
