PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,

to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to forthwith de - freeze

the petitioner's savings bank account No.159344663774 maintained with the 2nd

respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2025 in

accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to defreeze

the saving account of the writ petitioner bearing account number

159344663774, maintained in the second respondent Bank considering the

petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2025.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submits that the

disputed amount is only a sum of Rs.800/- and they would maintain the lien

over the said amount.

3. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent Bank is directed

to permit the petitioner to operate the bank account after maintaining the lien

over a sum of Rs.800/-
