issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to permit the petitioner

to enroll himself as advocate in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and

Puducherry in the upcoming enrolment session and provide permanent

enrollment number to him based on his representation and mail dated

18.07.2025, 15.08.2025 respectively.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.]

The petitioner herein who do not possess 10th Standard certificate in

view of the conversion of the education pattern from 11 + 1 + 3 to 10 + 2

+ 3, has given a representation to the respondents to consider his

educational qualification for being enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar

Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry having acquired his Law degree.

The said representations dated 18.07.2025 and 15.08.2025 are yet to be

considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition seeking Mandamus for

disposal of the said representations.

2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Secretary, Bar

Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry submits that the representation will

be considered within four [4] weeks and appropriate order will be passed

in accordance with law, after verification of the credentials of the

certificates produced by the petitioner ad the equivalency certificate.

3.Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a

direction to the respondent to consider the representations of the
