This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to forbear the respondents from establishing a new place of worship without prior permission of the 1st respondent and making noise by playing songs through sound system fixed by the 6th respondent at Peragam Vilai, Unnamalaikadai Panchayat, Nalloor Village, Vilavancode T.K., Kanyakumari District based on the petitioner's representation dated
07.10.2022.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 6th respondent put up a pillar more than 30 feet height and fixed very powerful loud speakers and created noise pollution. Further, the 6th respondent is trying to set up a temple near the pillar, without getting proper permission from the 1st respondent. In this regard, the petitioner has also made a representation on 07.10.2022. Since, the said representation was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition. 3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4, after taking instructions, would submit that the high volume loud speakers have been removed.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is also confirmed that the loud Speakers have been removed now.
5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is closed, as no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
