O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay a compensation of Rs. 25 Lakhs to the petitioner for the negligence of the Medical Officer, Tirunelveli, the third respondent herein.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that after the birth of her second daughter, she underwent sterilization operation at Government Hospital at Tirunelveli. Even thereafter, she was pregnant and a female child was born. Due to the negligence of the doctor leading to failure of the family planning operation, the petitioner was forced to pregnant and third child was born. Hence, the petitioner made an online petition dated 13.05.2022, seeking to take action against the 3^rd respondent and also seeking to pay the compensation of Rs.25 lakhs to the petitioner. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the online petition of the petitioner dated 13.05.2022 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider and pass orders on the online petition of the petitioner dated 13.05.2022 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
