ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Rent Court, Pallavaram to dispose of the eviction proceedings in RLOP No.20 of 2025, within a time framed fixed by this court.

2. A perusal of the e-courts status filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that notice in the main OP was served on the respondent only during October 2025 and he entered appearance during November 2025. Now, the matter is posted for filing counter.

3. In view of the fact that the pleadings of the parties are not yet completed, this court is not inclined to give any positive direction to the Rent Court, Pallavaram to dispose of the main OP, within any particular time limit. However, the learned Rent Court is reminded of the time line fixed under Section 36(6)(a) of Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017 to dispose of the OP in an expeditious manner.

4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
