By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to revise the petitioner’s wages with effect from 01.09.2023 based on the 15^th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 and pay him the difference in Leave Salary, Gratuity and Arrears of pension from 01.09.2023 to 31.07.2025 along with the interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

3.The petitioner worked as Selection Grade Conductor with the respondent Corporation and retired from service on 30.09.2023. It is the case of the petitioner that he is entitled to full benefits arising out of the 15^th wage settlement and therefore, the respondents have to pay the difference in gratuity and leave salary based on the wage revision. Further, due to inordinate delay of not-settling the retiral benefits, viz., Gratuity, Leave Salary and Pension and pre revised wages, he is entitled to claim interest. In view of the above, he submitted a representation before the respondents on 04.12.2025 seeking the aforesaid payments. But the said representation has not been considered, till date. Under such circumstances, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the terminal benefits payable to the petitioner were disbursed belatedly, and further, the differential amount payable under the 15^th wage settlement has not been paid so far. Hence, it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 04.12.2025, within a time frame. Therefore, he prays for issuance of appropriate directions in the above regard.

5. Acceding to the aforesaid submission, learned counsel for the respondents submitted her no objection for issuance of such a direction.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s representation dated 04.12.2025 with regard to payment of differential amount as per 15^th wage settlement, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, if he is entitled along with interest @ 6% p.a. for belated payment of retiral benefits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. . No costs.
