No. 742 / 2012 / A3 dated 26.05.2014 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner had attained the age of superannuation and retired from service and thus, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration.

2. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petit
