O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to release the subsidy amount of Rs.2.25 lakhs based on the recommendation letter in Na.Ka. No. TAHDCO-2022-23 EDP-VN-961 dated 08.05.2023 of the first respondent in the petitioner's tractor loan with Loan Number TMS00356T opened in the second respondent bank based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2025 submitted to the first respondent directly in person.

2. The petitioner herein decided to purchase a tractor and accordingly, approached the second respondent for sanction of a loan under the tractor category. Thereafter, the petitioner applied for subsidy under the scheme namely, Entrepreneur Development Programme (EDP) before the first respondent and proceeded to purchase the tractor while the subsidy application was under consideration. Subsequently, the petitioner’s subsidy application was approved and a subsidy amount of Rs.2,25,000/- was sanctioned by the first respondent. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 15.12.2025 to the first respondent seeking release of the sanctioned subsidy amount to his loan account. However, no action has been taken on the said representation till date. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Hon’ble Court.

3. There is no representation on the side of the respondents.

4. Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to disburse the subsidy amount of Rs.2,25,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Twenty Five Thousand only) to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

No costs.

6. Since there is no representation on the side of the respondents, Registry is directed to mark this order copy to the respondents and post the matter under the caption “For Reporting Compliance” on 16.02.2026.
