ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:-

“directing the 1st respondent to disburse the exgratia compensation amount due to the petitioner under the Public Policy Liability for the death of the petitioner’s parents Mrs.Lakshmi and Mr.Veerakumar on 10.2.2025 due to accident caused by leakage of Gas Cylinder. ”

2. The main grievance of the petitioner is that, despite the 1st respondent having received the petitioner’s legal notice dated 24.03.2025 seeking compensation for the death of the petitioner’s mother and father and despite having subsequently accepted liability that the said deaths were caused due to a gas leak from a defective cylinder supplied by them, the exgratia compensation amount has not been paid to date.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the 1st respondent, on instructions, submitted that as and when the Legal Heirship Certificates are uploaded, the ex gratia compensation amount would be processed.

4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
