O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to conduct enquiry and dispose of the petitioner's claim relating to hereditary and traditional Pooja rights in Arulmigu Chinnaiya Swamy Temple, situated at Thenmapattu Village, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, for the ensuing period next 5 1/2 years on rotational basis commencing from the first Tamil month of Thai i.e., 14.01.2026 under Section 63(b) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2025.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she was unlawfully prevented from performing pooja in the subject temple by respondent Nos.5 and 6. When the petitioner approached the concerned authorities, they failed to conduct any enquiry or afford protection to the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation to the second respondent on 22.12.2025, seeking an enquiry and restoration of her rightful turn to perform pooja. However, no action has been taken on the said representation till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 5 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 22.12.2025 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
