Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned finding of the one man enquiry committee’s report vide proceedings dated 17.10.2025 given by the third respondent and consequent impugned show cause notice dated 25.10.2025 issued by the first respondent vide Proc.No.3506/SOEL/UG/S1/2025 which was served to the petitioners on 27.10.2025 through post and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents not to take any disciplinary action against the petitioners.

ORDER

The writ petition was originally filed challenging the impugned report of the One Man enquiry committee dated 17.10.2025.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of the Court that pursuant to the report, final orders were passed on 06.01.2026 reprimanding the students. Therefore, nothing further survives in the original prayer made before this Court.

3. In view of the nature of the punishment and since by an interim direction, the answer sheets of the petitioners were ordered to be kept in a sealed cover, the sealed cover can be opened and further steps can be taken by the University to evaluate the same and publish the results in accordance with law.

4. With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
