O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take immediate action on the petitioner’s representation dated 12.12.2025 and to appoint a fit person to conduct the Kumbabishekam festival at Sri Muniyandi Swamy, Sri Ayyanar Swamy, Sri Karuppa Swamy and Sri Muthumariamman Swamy Temples situated at Melapanankadi, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, without conferring any honour on any individual or body.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, pursuant to the representation made by the petitioner, the respondents have already appointed a fit person to the temples.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents placed before this Court the proceedings dated 21.01.2026 passed by the second respondent, stating that a fit person has been appointed to the temples.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands closed. If the petitioner has any grievance, he is at liberty to make an appropriate representation before the fit person. It is for the fit person to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law. No costs.
