ORDER

The petitioner is a differently abled candidate, who has been assessed with benchmark disability of visual impairment to an extent of 75%. He has filed this writ petition challenging the notification issued by the second respondent dated 21.11.2025, calling for applications for the post of Assistant Surgeon, inasmuch as it does not contain any reservation for the candidates who have blindness and low vision.

2. Today, when this writ petition is taken for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has now been selected for pursuing an M.D. course at the AIMS Institution and therefore, he is not inclined to pursue this writ petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Recording the said submission and the endorsement made, this writ petition is closed as no further order is required. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
