O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the second respondent to issue “No Objection Certificate” for establishment of retail outlet of the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited at Survey No.

212/2B, Chockampatti Village, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tenkasi District.

2. The petitioner has given a representation on 28.11.2025 to the respondents seeking “No Objection Certificate” for establishment of retail outlet of the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. The same has not been disposed of. Hence the present writ petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the authority, who is competent to issue “No Objection Certificate” is not the second respondent but only the third respondent. She further submitted that the third respondent is awaiting police report for considering the request of the writ petitioner.

4. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
