Heard both sides.

2. The apprehension of the petitioner is that the construction of the drainage canal by the fifth respondent is with an object to let in drainage and sewage wastage water into Karikankulam Tank located in Survey No.733, Sevalur Revenue Village

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that this apprehension is misplaced. It is undertaken by the respondents that no drainage or sewage water will be let into the petition mentioned Karikankulam tank. This undertaking is recorded.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
