ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take action against the respondents 3 and 4 for not taking steps to implement the order passed by the 2nd respondent on 25.05.2022 to furnish the documents of B-Memo and other particulars of the property in Survey No. 1089, Sirumalai Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District under the Right to Information Act and further direct the respondents 3 and 4 to furnish the documents under the Right to Information Act based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2019.

2. This Court, on 05.01.2026, had passed the following order:-

"The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has received the certified copy of G.O.(Ms)No.1168, Revenue Department, Adangal copy, A-Register copy and B-Memo copies and also produced the acknowledgment of the petitioner.

2. Per contra, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not received any of those documents.

3. In view of the above submission, the learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to produce the copies of the documents mentioned by her, after serving on the petitioner counsel, in order to give quietus to the issue.

4. List on 21.01.2026."

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a senior citizen and hence, he was not in a position to go and collect the documents. Therefore, the learned counsel requested that since the learned Additional Government Pleader had on last occasion submitted that necessary copies of the documents would be provided to the petitioner, this matter may be closed by recording those submissions.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 would submit that the respondents 3 and 4 are ready and willing to furnish the necessary documents to the petitioner, once he approaches them.

5. Upon hearing either sides, this Court directs the respondents 3 and 4 to comply with the order of this Court dated 05.01.2026 and furnish the copies of necessary documents to the petitioner, once he approaches them.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
