O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to re-evaluate the petitioner’s answer booklet (OMR sheet-Part B) in Candidate Roll No.25PG0629220134, Application No.PGA061665 and award fifteen marks to the petitioner for the examination held on 12.10.2025, for the post of Postgraduate Assistants pursuant to the recruitment notification No.02/2025 dated 10.07.2025 and appoint the petitioner as Post Graduate Assistant.

2. The petitioner possesses B.Sc.(Botany)., B.Ed., and M.Sc.,(Botany)

qualifications. Pursuant to the recruitment notification issued by the 3^rd respondent for the post of PG Assistant/Physical Director Grade-I/Computer Instructor Grade-I in School Education and other Department in the Tamilnadu Higher Secondary Educational Service-2025, the petitioner had applied for the Subject of Botany. After the competitive/written examination held on 12.10.2025, the 3^rd respondent published the tentative answer key on 15.10.2025 inviting objections from the candidates, to which, the petitioner raised objections to nine questions. However, in the final answer key published on 27.11.2025, the marks were awarded only for two questions. Though the petitioner had correctly answered 94 questions, only 79 marks were awarded to him and he was not selected for certificate verification for the Subject of Botany. Therefore, the petitioner made an application under Right to Information Act, 2005 seeking to provide his OMR sheet and the details of textbooks relied upon by the 3^rd respondent however, the same has not been considered till date and therefore, in order to espouse the said cause, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up Today, the petitioner’s OMR sheet was produced before this Court for verification of the marks awarded. Upon examination, the learned counsel for the petitioner did not point out any discrepancy. In view of the same, this Court finds no error in the marks awarded to the petitioner and hence, the relief sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be granted.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
