Mr.S.PUSHPAKARAN Criminal Revision Case No. 1838 of 2023 Criminal Revision Case is filed under Sections 397 and 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to set aside the order dated 11.08.2023 passed in Crl.A.No.364 of 2019 on the file of V Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, confirming the order of punishment dated 09.09.2019 passed in C.C.No. 3567 of 2012 on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate in (Fast Track Court No.II) Egmore, Allikulam, Chennai.

R.Vivekananda ..Respondent This case came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.A.Prabhakaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sivamani, learned counsel for the Respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both parties along with their respective counsels are present.
2. On their amicable settlement, the petitioner herein consented to settle the amount of Rs.1,20,000/- amicably within a period of nine months i.e., on or before September, 2026. The respondent has also accepted the offer. Moreover, the petitioner herein consented to return the deposited amount of Rs.2,80,000/- before the Courts below with accrued interest, if so. The deposited amount is ordered to be released to the respondent herein. On failure of such deposit on or before September, 2026, the matter shall be referred to Regular Court.
3.With the above observation and direction, this Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of.
