Mr.S.PUSHPAKARAN Criminal Revision Case No. 745 of 2023 Criminal Revision Case is filed under Sections 397 and 401 of CrPC., praying to set aside the judgment of the Appellate Court made in C.A.No. 109 of 2022, dated 15.03.2023 on the file of learned Additional District and Sessions Court (Fast Track Court) Mettur, Salem District in dismissing the Appeal filed by the Appellant herein and confirming the conviction and sentence passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Mettur, Salem District made in C.C.No. 177 of

2013 judgment dated 31.10.2022.

C.Arumugam ..Respondent/Respondent/Complainant This case came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.S.Arivazhagan, Learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Lenin Babu, learned counsel for the Respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both parties along with their respective counsels are present.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, both parties have filed Joint Compromise Affidavit dated 13.12.2025 and the same is recorded before this Court.

The accused now settled the entire amount of Rs.5,00,000/- to the Complainant.

3. In view of the above Joint Compromise Affidavit, dated 13.12.2025 is recorded and the same shall form part and parcel of this order.

4.The judgment passed by the Appellate Court made in C.A.No. 109 of 2022 dated 15.03.2023 on the file of Additional District and Sessions Court (Fast Track Court) Mettur, Salem District in dismissing the Appeal filed by the Appellant herein and confirming the conviction and sentence passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Mettur, Salem District made in C.C.No. 177 of 2013, dated 31.10.2022 in convicting the petitioner herein for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, is hereby set aside.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
