PRAYER in W.P.(MD).No.24070 of 2025: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other order or directions in the nature of a Writ to call for the records pertaining to the orders passed by the first respondent in his proceedings G.O.(Ms).(ID)No.490 Revenue and Disaster Management Department, dated 31.07.2025 and quash the same and direct the first respondent to accept the proposal of the third respondent dated 05.03.2024 and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Tahsildar from the date on which the petitioners junior was given promotion with all other consequential benefits and pass such further or other suitable order.

COMMON ORDER

The Writ Petition in W.P.(MD).No.24070 of 2025 has been filed to quash the orders passed by the first respondent in his proceedings dated 31.07.2025 and direct the first respondent to accept the proposal of the third respondent dated 05.03.2024 and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Tahsildar from the date on which the petitioners junior was given promotion with all other consequential benefits and pass such further orders.

2. The Writ Petition in W.P.(MD).No14279 of 2025 has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the orders passed by the third respondent in his proceedings dated 22.04.2025 and quash the same in so far as para 4 is concerned and direct the respondents to include the petitioner name in the panel as per seniority and promote the petitioner as Tahsildar from the date on which the petitioner junior was given promotion with all other consequential benefits and pass such further orders.

3. Heard Mr.V.Paneer Selvam, the learned appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.Siddardhan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. Mr.V.Paneer Selvam learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was selected and appointed as Revenue Assistant in Group-II examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and was initially posted at Taluk Office, Nilakottai, Dindigul District where she had joined the duty on 14.08.2008. The petitioner’s service was regularised and the probation was also declared. The petitioner had passed the Revenue Test Part-I on 01.09.2009, Revenue Test Part-II on 16.03.2011, Revenue Test Part-III on 01.09.2009, Account Test Part-I on 16.03,2011, Account Test Part-II on 16.08.2010, Criminal Judicial Test Part-I on 16.03.2012, Criminal Judicial Test Part-II on 16.03.2012 and Criminal Judicial Test Part-III on 16.03.2012.
