Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to call for the entire records relating to the impugned re-auction notice issued by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.904/2025/A6 dated 21.01.2026,quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents to proceed with the earlier re-auction notice in Na.Ka.No.904/2025/A6 dated 27.10.2025 pertaining to the lease of fishing rights in Selathampatti Lake,by confirming the Petitioner as successful bidder and to grant the fishing license to the petitioner.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the auction notice dated 21.01.2026 issued by the 2nd respondent and consequently direct the Respondents to proceed with the earlier re-auction notice in Na.Ka.No.904/2025/A6 dated 27.10.2025 pertaining to the lease of fishing rights in Selathampatti Lake,by confirming the Petitioner as successful bidder and to grant the fishing license to the petitioner.
2. It is reported that auction conducted on 02.01.2026 pertaining to the lease of fishing rights in Selathampatti Lake, Salem District and the petitioner has been declared as a successful bidder.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner reports that the petitioner also paid a sum of Rs.7,33,880/- pursuant to the auction held on 02.01.2026. The instructions given by the 2nd respondent as well as the challan for payment made by the petitioner is scanned and extracted hereunder:
4. As the petitioner is the successful bidder, the cause for the writ petition petition vanishes. Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
