to the Respondent No.1 to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.18

of 2024 from the file of the 3^rd Respondent to the file of the 2^nd Respondent

herein or any other investigation officer and in further directing him to file a

Charge Sheet in the said criminal case under appropriate Acts within a time

stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to issue a direction to the

Respondent No.1 to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.18 of

2024 from the file of the 3^rd Respondent to the file of the 2^nd Respondent herein

or any other investigation officer and in further directing him to file a Charge

Sheet in the said criminal case within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government

Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that after

completion of investigation, the final report has been filed as 'further action

dropped' on 05.01.2024.

3. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with

liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, by filing a protest petition

if so advised. Further, the third respondent police is directed to serve RCS

notice to the petitioner/defacto complainant forthwith.
