Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus, direct the 2nd respondent to produce the petitioner’s minor son Saravanan, aged about 17 years in person before this Court.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.)

This Habeas Corpus petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent-Police to produce the petitioner’s minor son Saravanan, aged about 17 years before this Court.

2. Pursuant to the directions issued by this Court, the second respondent-

Police secured and produced the detenu, Saravanan aged about 17 years, before this Court today. The petitioner was also present.

3. On enquiry, the detenu stated that he had left his residence voluntarily.

There is no material available on record to indicate that he is under illegal detention. Upon interaction, the detenu expressed his willingness to accompany his father. Considering that the detenu is a minor, he is permitted to go along with his father, the petitioner herein.

4. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
