[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.]

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the notice, dated 26.12.2025, issued by the second respondent, under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, saying that 7 sq.meters of Government land has been encroached by the petitioner by putting up a compound wall and it is liable to be removed, is under challenge in this writ petition, if the authorities concerned identify and demarcate the encroached portion, the petitioner himself is ready to remove the same.

2. In view of the above submission, the authorities concerned shall identify and demarcate the encroached portion in the subject land to enable the petitioner himself to remove the encroachment made by him. If the petitioner fails to do so, the authorities shall remove the same in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
