O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider petitioners' representation dated 17.01.2026 for granting permission to conduct public auction concerning the Potli Poduthal and the ritual goat sacrifices offered by the devotees.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 17.01.2026 for granting permission to conduct public auction concerning the Potli Poduthal and the ritual goat sacrifices offered by the devotees. However, since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. Learned Government Advocate for the respondents, would submit that within a considerable period, the representation would be considered.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2^nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

There shall be no order as to costs.
