O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.)

The Sub-Application has been filed seeking leave of this Court to pursue the Contempt Petition in respect of the order dated 21.03.2019 passed in W.A.No.491 of 2015.

2. The fact remains that the Division Bench passed final orders on

21.03.2019 and the respondent/ employee in the Writ Appeal died in the year 2020. The present Sub-Application has been filed after a lapse of five years from the date of the death of the respondent/ employee.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader made a submission that a Special Leave Petition has been filed against the Writ Appeal order and the Special Leave Petition was dismissed for default and subsequently, it was restored on the file of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Therefore, only after disposal of the Special Leave Petition, appropriate actions are to be initiated in the orders passed in the Writ Appeal.

4. This being the factum, the petitioners are at liberty to pursue the remedy only after the disposal of the Special Leave Petition pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

5. With these observations, the Sub-Application No.827 of 2024 stands disposed of. Consequently, the Sub-Application No.828 of 2024 and the Contempt Petition Diary No.89200 of 2024 stand closed.
