Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the process of selection, the petitioner is being unnecessarily insisted for production of fresh community certificate even though the certificate issued in her favour has not so far been cancelled; and it is still operative.

By way of abundant caution, the petitioner has applied for a fresh community certificate, which has not so far been issued.

2. We are of the view that if the petitioner is already having a community certificate issued in her favour, which has not so far been cancelled, the petitioner’s grievance should be against the selection agency rather than the revenue officer.

3. Giving the petitioner liberty to seek appropriate relief against rejection or possible rejection of her candidature, this petition is closed. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP Nos.4366 and 4367 of 2026 are closed.
