With the consent of Mr.Kaja Navas, the learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.B.Ramanakumar, the learned Senior Standing Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent, this Writ Petition is being disposed of at the time of admission.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Respondent to cancel the Permanent Account Number, ‘EMPPP5801M’

pursuant to the Petitioner’s representation dated 08.05.2025.

3. The learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Respondent would submit that the Petitioner’s Representation dated 08.05.2025 will be considered and disposed of on merits within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Respondent to dispose of the Petitioner’s Representation dated 08.05.2025 on merits, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No costs.
