This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondent to consider and pass final orders on the revision dated 01.07.2024 preferred by the petitioner under Section 13 of the Tamilnadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, taken on file as Revision Petition No.2239899/2024.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the subject property is ancestral in nature and that the petitioner has preferred a revision petition dated 01.07.2024 in Revision Petition No. 2239899/2024 before the respondent under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983. However, the said revision petition has not been considered or disposed of till date. Hence, the present petition is filed.
4. The learned Additional Government pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's revision dated 01.07.2024 will be considered and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Recording the aforesaid submission and without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's revision dated 01.07.2024 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to all the parties concerned, within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
