The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2025.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the duly elected Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society. He was last elected on 13.05.2023 by the members in accordance with the provisions of the Red Cross Societies Act and the Rules in force. As per the Act and the Rules, the tenure of the Chairman is three years. Accordingly, his tenure is valid from 2023 to 2026
