Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to comply with the order dated 13.2.2020 in W.P.No.1278 of 2020 read with the order of the Honourable Supreme court in C.A.Nos.3745-3754 of 2020 dated 5.3.2021 by redrawing the provisional selection list dated 2.1.2020 for the subject Tamil issued pursuant to Notification No.10/2019, dated 12.06.2019 in accordance with law and include the name of the petitioner belonging to MBC category in the selection list for the subject Tamil pursuant to Notification No. 10/2019 dated 12.6.2019 and consequently forbear the 2nd respondent from proceedings with the Notification No.01/2021 dated 9.9.2021 until compliance with the directions contained in the order of the Honourable Supreme court in C.A.Nos.3745-3754 of 2020 dated 5.3.2021 in so far as the subject Tamil is concerned.

ORDER

This Writ petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to comply with the order dated 13.2.2020 in W.P.No.1278 of 2020 read with the order of the Honourable Supreme court in C.A.Nos.3745-3754 of 2020 dated 5.3.2021 by redrawing the provisional selection list dated 2.1.2020 for the subject Tamil pursuant to Notification No.10/2019, dated 12.06.2019 in accordance with law and include the name of the petitioner belonging to MBC category in the selection list for the subject Tamil pursuant to Notification No. 10/2019 dated 12.6.2019 and consequently forbear the 2nd respondent from proceedings with the Notification No.01/2021 dated 9.9.2021 until compliance with the directions contained in the order of the Honourable Supreme court in C.A.Nos.3745-3754 of 2020 dated 5.3.2021 in so far as the subject Tamil is concerned.

2.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration, as the petitioner has secured an appointment in the revised selection list.

3.In view of the aforesaid submission, since the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, no further orders are necessary and accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
