ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to issue subdivision patta in favour of the petitioner for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition.

2.It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instruction that, the petitioner’s application seeking for issuance of subdivision patta for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition was rejected by the respondent vide order dated 15.12.2025.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction would submit that though a whatsapp message was received by the petitioner regarding the rejection of his application, till date, the formal order passed by the respondent rejecting the said application has not been served on the petitioner to enable the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to the petitioner under law.

4.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent on instruction would submit that, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, the formal order dated 15.12.2025, rejecting the petitioner’s application seeking for subdivision patta in his favour will be served on the petitioner. The said undertaking given by the respondent is recorded.

5.For the foregoing reason, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to serve the petitioner with the formal order dated 15.12.2025, rejecting the petitioner’s application seeking for subdivison patta as prayed for in this writ petition, within a period of four weeks from the date receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also granted liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to the petitioner under law. No costs.
