Mamallapuram Range, Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to prohibit usage of caste names in the invitations of the ensuing Masi Bramochavam 2026 of the 3rd respondent Temple/Arulmigu Kandhasamy Thirukovil, Thiruporur and to permit only the persons duly authorized by the 3rd respondent/Executive Officer to participate as “Sri Padhamthangis” to carry the idol during procession and pass suitable orders.
