Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned counsel, takes notice for the respondents 2 & 3.
2. This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to quash the e-auction sale notice dated 09.12.2025, issued by the respondent – Bank, for his default in repayment of the loan amount.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the property, which is the subject matter of the e-auction sale, is an agricultural land and therefore, there is a bar under Section 31(i) of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, to proceed against the agricultural land.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 & 3, on instructions, submits that the subject property was brought for e-auction sale on 31.01.2026 and the sale was also confirmed. Later, the said property was conveyed to the successful bidder through a registered document dated 31.01.2026, which was registered on 12.02.2026 and the registration number of the said document is 1087 of 2026, on the file of the Sub Registrar's office at Thuraiyur. This writ petition was filed on 10.02.2026.
5. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 & 3, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition and the same is, therefore, liable to be dismissed.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
