Mr.P.Anbazhagan, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the claim of the petitioners has been settled by the respondents and as such the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration and seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition.

He also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
