ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to cancel the patta bearing Nos.4227, 4261 and 4227 standing in the name of the respondents 5 and 6 for the properties morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner’s representation, dated
17.08.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, the respondents 5 and 6 have illegally obtained patta, namely patta Nos.4227, 4261 and 4227 in their respective names. The petitioner seeks for cancellation of the same through his representation, dated 17.08.2024. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 and 6 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 5 and 6 is dispensed with by this Court.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 and 6 or any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner’s representation, dated 17.08.2024 seeking for cancellation of patta Nos.4227, 4261 and 4227 standing in the name of the respondents 5 and 6, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 and 6 or any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
No costs.
