JUDGMENT

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is filed against the award dated

12.07.2022 made in M.C.O.P.No.1175 of 2013, on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, III Court of Small Causes, Chennai.

2. A joint memo of compromise has been filed on behalf of the appellant and the 2nd respondent / Insurance Company, duly signed by the respective parties and their counsel. It is submitted that the parties arrived at an amicable settlement and the 2nd respondent/ Insurance Company agreed to pay a sum of Rs.3,25,000/- to the appellant in in full quit. The appellant has agreed to receive the said amount in full and final satisfaction of the award and undertakes not to raise any claim in respect of the same cause of action and the said memo of compromise is recorded.

4. In view of the above, the said joint memo of compromise is recorded.

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of in accordance with the joint memorandum of compromise arrived at between the parties. The joint memorandum of compromise shall form part of the decree. No costs.

5. The Court fee shall be refunded to the appellant as per rules.
