ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to quash the order passed by the third respondent dated 30.08.2023 and to direct the third respondent to comply with the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.5025 of
2022, dated 22.03.2022.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that as against the impugned proceedings dated 30.08.2023 passed by the third respondent, the petitioner has a revisional remedy before the second respondent / appellate authority under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983. However, without invoking the said revisional remedy, the petitioner has straightaway approached this Court.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the petitioner has a revisional remedy before the second respondent under Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the second respondent / appellate authority and raise all the grounds raised in this Writ Petition in the revision. In the event that any revision is filed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the same shall be entertained by the second respondent / appellate authority without reference to the period of limitation and shall be disposed of in accordance with law, within a period of three months thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
