ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:-

“directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 08.12.2025within the time frame fixed by this Hon’ble Court.”

2. The Petitioner case is that, through the RTI Act, he came to know that the 2^nd respondent Society has been functioning without periodic renewal, as required under the Societies Registration Act, and therefore in violation of its Rules and Regulations. Therefore, the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 08.12.2025 to the 1^st respondent, requesting cancellation of the Society’s registration and imposition of penalties in accordance with law. The representation was received by the 1^st respondent on 10.12.2025. However, no effective action has been taken thereon to date. Being aggrieved by such inaction, the Petitioner has approached this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4. Considering the limited request of the petitioner and taking note of the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2025 has not been considered to date, the Writ Petition is allowed. The 1^st respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner’s representation dated 08.12.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
