to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling upon the records of the 2nd

respondent dated 08.08.2025 made in No.E-50II/ 4/ 2020-E (150)/ 246 and

quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd respondent to

consider the application of the petitioner and appoint her in the Post of

Independent Member for the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF),

Puducherry.

ORDER

Aggrieved by the appointment of the 5^th respondent for the post of

Independent Member for the consumer grievances redressal Forum (CGRF),

Puducherry, the petitioner has preferred this writ petition.

2. The only ground taken by the petitioner is that the 5^th respondent served

as a member of the redressal forum of two different occasions. The petitioner is

aggrieved that the 5^th respondent was granted third term. This contention is

liable to be rejected outright for the simple reason that the petitioner has not

produced any materials to show that a candidate cannot be considered for more

than two time as member of redressal forum. Both the petitioner and 5^th

respondent had undergone the same selection process. Just because the 5^th

respondent emerged victorious, his candidature cannot be questioned just

because he has held the said post on two occasions before. The writ petition is

devoid of merits and the same is dismissed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous
